Select Harness¶

Pick a catalogued topology instead of inventing a swarm in chat.

When to use¶

• "Use the research-swarm harness" / "which harness for this?"
• Before spawning ephemeral sub-agents.

What you produce¶

• The chosen harness README pasted into the session.
• An audit-log row in workflow/delegation/audit-log.md.

Procedure¶

1. Read workflow/harnesses/README.md.
2. If the user did not name one, recommend from: bounded-solo, research-swarm, isolated-review.
3. Open that folder's README and follow it. Do not invent extra workers.
4. Honor data classification and OmniRoute rules on the harness page (Work-thinking defaults local; private_sensitive never via OmniRoute).
5. Append an audit entry: Type analysis or research, Agent/tool includes the harness name, Review status pending.

Anti-patterns¶

• Don't build a new orchestrator runtime.
• Don't auto-harvest a chat improvisation into the catalog (promote explicitly if it worked twice).
